What we do
We specialise in versatile electricity and water metering for residential, commercial, and industrial clients, backed by communication devices, software platforms, and a project team that has actually been on site. Our approach is to stay accountable across the full chain: from meter selection and installation through to tariff optimisation, billing operations, and the analytics layer that makes losses visible.
We work hands-on with municipalities, REITs, large commercial and industrial sites, residential estates, and businesses entering the third-party energy wheeling market, each with different tariff complexity and reporting demands. The platform and processes flex around the engagement; the operating discipline does not.
How we operate
Meerkat Energy is a small core team that works with a specialist partner network, Igagasi Consulting, Metering Academy & Services, and EAG Web Solutions, to extend delivery capacity across consulting, software, field services, metering training and technical implementation. Larger programmes are supported directly and through partner and prime-contractor structures where applicable.
Every engagement has a named operations lead, a project manager, a technical lead, and access to the Insights platform from day one. Clients get the same people for the life of their programme, and we measure ourselves on the numbers that show up on their invoice, not on the number of features shipped.
